how high/low to aim projectors
how high/low to aim projectors
been reading the stickys and how to's and people say how much difference between each headlight should be and such but i dont see people say how high or low to aim the projectors.
My first set of projectors and HID's so just trying to find out how to properly adjust the height of them

I just parked my car in front of a wall about 4-5 feet away and aimed them maybe 3 inches above level with the top of the projector lens. Try that then go drive at night see how you like it and adjust from there to your likings. As for the leveling of them just line the top cutoff line of them up evenly where they overlap, the cutoffs are kinda pre-angled for the left to be a bit lower. Should be able to see a good distance but not be shining through people's rear windows at a stoplight. lol Mine are about at the top of a cars trunk. Hope this helped you at all.

There is a reason that you have high beams.
Guessing you get flashed a lot.......
To the op - you need to be about 25' back from a wall on level ground. Measure the height from the center of the projector to the ground and mark the wall at that height. Adjust the height so that the cutoff is DOWN between 1 and 2 inches from the mark you made. Both lights should be at the same height. The "step" in the cutoff should be straight ahead or slightly to the right.
This will give you good output on the low beams without blinding anyone.
If you really want to get into auto lighting theory, this is a great site - tons of reading so be prepared. http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/tech.html
