How to install new side skirts

I am a 07 G5 base model. I am in the process of buying a pair of side skirts

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-06...Z3102949545640

and had a couple questions about install. I know i need to cut the slits in the side of the car but how exactly do the side skirts install. I know these clips are used

2005-On Cobalt HHR Rocker Panel Moulding Clips (15) | eBay

how do i use these to install the skirts??

thanks

on the bottom they just snap in a hole, and the flat part of the clip slides over slits on the skirt. You can drill holes for the side or use adhesive

im doing this myself right now. the holes are up under the body on us base models (well on the cobalt they are) there are clips on the skirts that slid into the clip that goes into the car. like dayhoff said u can drill holes or use 3m adhesive. im gonna use adhesive just cause i dont want to drill holes into the car

I would suggest manning up and drilling the hole, much better fitment and u don't run the chance of it just popping off

I am planning on drilling the holes not taping, but I dont really understand yet where the holes need to be drilled and how exactly the clips attach to the side skirts.

btw, skirts are universal for both sedans and coupes. I picked up some skirts off a buddys ss and fit fine for my sedan. I used the clips but used epoxy resin glue stuff, not tape or drill holes. I know drilling holes is more safe and all, but some of us dont like any more holes then necessary in our cars. (not lazy ither)

just got the skirts but have no god damn clue how the clips,(pics attached) attach to the skirts themselves and then to the car. I thought the skirts had notches or slits or something but they are just one solid piece. HELP PLEASE!!

Dude just double aide tape it one like any one else would half to,
Probably one of the easiest things u can do, and if u can't handle it maybe u should just stop and go pay some one else to install them for u
