How to remove this side panel from seatbelt???

How to remove this side panel from seatbelt???

i can obviously unclip the panel itself,,, but how the hell do u completely take it off the seat belt, for paint!

you have to take out the bolt at the bottom. be sure to take note of the torque specs on the bolt of the seatbelt at the bottom so you can put it back on later

ok do u know what size socket..if not its okay.. and its just that one bottom bolt, and the panel will be free?

i know it is a "torx" style bolt. i dont know what size though. and yes once you loosen that bolt, you will be able to slide the belt out of the panel

Those giant torx bolts are a pain in the ass. Getting one to pop loose takes quite a bit of effort usually.
