How to replace Halo rings leds (deltails) - HELP

Hi guys!

I know there are many posts about this but I'm missing some major "how to" knowledge".
I know where to access the rings' leds, I know how to take it out of the socket and I know where to order those leds (still knot sure exactly of what to order) BUT I didn't see anything on how to actually replace those leds in details...

Accessing it:

Taking off from the socket:

NOW... I have absolutely no idea what to take off or how to do it... Maybe my knowledge in electronic is really poor but PLEASE someone tell me how to do this and what to get as the replacement exactly!
Sure hope it's almost plug and play thing...

Thank you very much in advance!

see the solder between the bulbs... if you wanna replace the bulbs, heat up that solder with a solder gun.. then put new bulbs on and re-solder..

you could probly get the whole thing somehow.. but I would just buy some leds and re-solder.. way cheaper probly.. and only takes liek 5 minutes.

Can't I get the part with both leds on it with the resistors?

Did you ever did it? no problem?

Hope I won't have to do this often... it's a pain to take it out and more to put it back in.
Where could I get those (the entire part)?

So, the only way to do it is to solder the leds? Everyone who has changed their leds did it this way?

You just have to pull that rubber garment back & you will see where they are soldered, then you can de-solder them & solder new ones in. You can PM MKulrey about the new bulbs. Get WHITE!

Why do you say to get white. Wouldn't blue look more sweet?

Yes, to the legal pressure...

I ordered blue from MKulrey (because I thought the halos were blue), but they are white. You can put blue in, it's the same exact process. The bulbs are 3MM or T1 LED's.

I was actually thinking about doing the same thing.

Hey Mkulrey13, are your led's much brighter than the stock ones that come with these Halo Projectors? Cuz if they are, I'm probably gonna look into getting a few of them.

I emailed PowerImport (the one I got the projectors from) about this and I simply need to pay for shipping and he will ship me the entire piece with leds (from the resistors to the leds.
Very good service! This is on the one year warranty with the HID kit.

If you want to get those, get it from them!
