i bought some 3rd gen projectors and i looked at the back of the projector. i was like what the heck u have to unscrew screws and stuff to put the bulbs in and out, and the only thing that keeps them in is that wire. what is up with that and is there ne way u can do to make them more secure instead of the the wire?

 

the wire holds em in pretty good.. and what screws did you have to pull to get to the bulb? i have the 3rd gen and you dont have to take and screws out..

You don't have to unscrew anything,i just changed out my bulbs yesterday.All you have to do is push the wire down and to the side and then just pull the bulb out.

 

yeah your not suppose to take that screw out.. the wire is basically spring loaded..
