I'm not a fan of the chrome cause it doesnt go with the car at all. think i could sandblast it then paint it black?

Sandblasting plastic usually doesn't end well.

LOL why sandblast. Isn't it plastic?

The only aftermarket grilles available are.......... Chrome. Or billet. Stick with ur black diamond mesh.

thanks,

ya the dealership cut off the origanal piece with badge and then the chrome piece just snaps on to the plastic grill. it looks stupid, and cheap. my only choice is to leave it on or paint it. yes its plastic, got any ideas besides sandblasting?

btw it was poorly made and wont snap back on so i'm gonna have to take the grill out too. so beat.

Sandblasting is a good option if you wish to remove the grill completely

Hey just out of curiosity, does your chrome grill have the diamond mesh TC grille behind it or the slat style grille like the other Cobalts?
