our dashes are hard plastic, armoral wont crack it, that comes from cars with padded dashes,it dries out the vinal covering it

Yeah, I use Armoral on my dash, etc. all the time and no cracking. That's a good question about the steering wheel though...maybe some leather conditioner??

I'm interested in hearing about how to fix a scratch on the wheel too. The button on my jeans stratched it on the left side once as I was getting out a little while ago. Now every time I put my hand at like 8 o'clock I can feel it and it makes me sad I heard from someone that you can use a very tiny bit of superglue on a toothpick, put it under the flap, and then bend the flap over it. However, it could leave a little hard spot and I'm not that crazy about trying it. I put leather conditioner on it but it doesn't really make it go away, it just smoothes the leather so you don't notice it as much. Any other ideas anyone?

Man , sorry to say ...but there really isnt anything thats gonna make the scratch not visible anymore . Last time I was on Ebay , I did see 2 SS steering wheels for under 50 bux .

As far as the dash goes , I dont like shiney stuff . All Ive done with mine since day one , is wash down the plastic interior pieces once a month with warm distilled water with a little bit of dawn dish soap mixed in , then use another bucket of warm distilled water and a microfiber to rinse it off . Distilled water has NOTHING in it as far minerals , so it wont leave mineral deposits like regular tap or spring water . 2.5 years later my dash still looks as new as the day I drove it home , and no synthetic shine . Car washes that have spot free rinses , all it is ...is distilled water . Theres nothing in it to spot the car .
