I got pulled over in the beginning of the summer for my tint only. I have 20%. I got let go because all the state cop gave me was a repair order. I thought it was straight and I just had to get it fixed. No where on the repair order did it say I had to have the tint fixed by a certain date. I get a letter a few days ago in the mail claiming my tags and registration is suspended until I get it fixed. Anyone know of a good reputable place in the MD/VA/DC area that removes my original tint and puts on new tint? Thanks.

 

You can just go to a store like schucks, autozone, etc. and get some stuff called "tint off" or similar. Then just spray it on the tint and scrape it off with a razor blade. Then you will at least be able to get your registration good. A tinting place will usually charge to remove tint, so this will also save you some money.

 

yea to remove its like 100 bucks the only place i know off is west end performance

 

wow!! here in FL they give you a $76 ticket, if you dont pay it in a month there a warrant out for your arrest.
