My friend's a service tech, he's gonna help and the shop manager, who is a good friend of the family, is gonna be there to. Together we sure better get it right
And how the heck did you find the time to post so much in 5 months???

Oh yeah I was able to mine at school with an airline, air tools, a lift, and wall mounted strut compressor. With all these tools at your hands it's soooo easy.
The bitchiest part has to be the last bolt you take out at the bottom of the strut. Easiest way I found is to keep the top of the tower (in the engine bay) bolted and do those two on the bottom first. And then lower the lift a little and use a jack to put a little pressure on the strut. Once it's even the bolts will slide right out. Everything else is really straight forward, though. Have fun bro!

Heres a nice how to for you:

Key things to watch for: Make sure you seat the front ones all the way, otherwise you will have squeaking. Pay attention to what direction the top came off and ensure you put it back on the same way or you will have knocking as well, gotta fix that on mine.
GL with the install and enjoy the ride after!

couple tips, having done many installs on cobalts.
do the rears first. with airtools it shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes to do the rears. only thing to watch for on the rears is to make sure they're BOTH seated properly before you start bolting things up. if you get one seated, and bolt it up, and the other side isn't sitting properly you're going to have to re-loosen the other side.
for the fronts, DO NOT use airtools for the suspension mount (the 3 bolts in the engine bay) and be very careful torqing them down. only to about 10 ft/lbs, any more and they will snap.
the tab on the suspension mount (usually has a green stripe on it) needs to face towards the engine. make sure the springs are seated fully as you are loosening up the spring compressors. they like to move a little as you loosen the compressors, so keep an eye on them.
other than that it's pretty straightforward, especially with a lift and airtools. if you have a basic knowledge of suspension it's a very simple job. if you're not 100% sure, i would recommend doing one front side at a time. this way if you forget exactly how something goes together, you have the other side to use as a reference.
using basic handtools, and a floor jack, and not being in a hurry i do springs in about 1 1/2 hours. with airtools and a lift, and a few extra hands i could easily see less than an hour install time.
