Interceptor goes blank when hot
So ive had a few different setups with interceptor gauges. Different gauges, different locations etc. Same problem has happened both times.
On this setup, the gauge next to the vent would go blank in the winter time if I had the heat on and the gauge would feel very hot, the one to the right of the steering wheel would be fine with no issues. however in the summer when both were left with direct sunlight hitting them, they would both go blank until they cooled down or were out of direct sunlight.
One I am currently using I plan on selling shortly anyway, but same issue, sunlight just last week gauge was blank until cool.
I would love to go back to the dual setup in the gauge bezel, however don't want a blank gauge for 4-5 months out of the year while the heat is on. Anyone have this problem? or also does anyone have anything to fix it? I was thinking of using heat tape on the whole inside of that gauge bezel if theres room, but I doubt there is.
If I have to ill do a triple pillar pod with bottom wide band, upper two dual interceptors, and steering column boost gauge, however I would rather the gauge bezel as I like the look better preferably.
Comments, thoughts?

Also my factory boost gauge is not workable with my TVS setup now as I am pushing over 20 psi.
Want to upgrade to an AEM unit as I like their products. Which one would be more of a direct swap?

First one im guessing? Second one seems overkill.
Also just used ebay as reference for a quick search.

No idea on the interceptors.
But, neither one of those gauge will be a direct swap. Youll have to run the harness to the engine bay from the cabin, tap the sender unit into a vacuum line, and wire the gauge. It will be pretty easy honestly, just use the stock gauge harness for power, ground, and illumination for the AEM.
pink -- 12v switched
grey -- illumination
black/white -- ground
tan -- boost signal (do not use or try to use this one.)

My interceptor is doing this now. Sometimes won't even turn on, cause it'll be like 90+ in my car.
Tints in the summer would fix, planning on getting some.
EDIT: I like the setup you have in the OP as a solution.

I have five percent tint but at high noon its coming directly down from sky and gets usually through windshield. I would imagine there is a point where they get too hot to normally operate like everything else. Hmm so at least I'm not only one. Hoping would be more with first pic problem and maybe a solution.
