Interior dash trim - Chemical paint stripping?

Is there any kind of chemical paint remover I can use to get the paint off a spare set of trim? Not really sure of options out there that won't eat through the plastic.

Trim is a spare set and has been painted once before. I sanded the long piece over the glove box no problem, but the others are just such a pain to sand with all the little creases.

Do you know what kind of paint was used? rattle can or a good 2 component paint? If its spray paint a lacquer thinner may work but i do not know how the plastic will be affected. if it's 2 component, maybe an aircraft paint and clear coat remover. or if it was not prepped well sometimes compressed air will take it off. maybe somebody else has some more ideas

I've heard of people soaking headlight parts in a bucket of outdoor bleach to remove paint. Perhaps that may do the same?

It looks like it's just a rattle can. It comes off with wet sanding but it's a few coats thick so getting the smaller pieces and the funky areas like the crossbar on the radio bezel are proving to be troublesome.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, will try some stuff out. It's a spare set anyways, so worst case I need to pick up another spare lol

Use acetone. You can buy 100% acetone at almost every dollar store or wal Mart. It is used in nail polish remover. We use it in our chemistry labs to remove sharpie and clean stuff from glass where. Should eat right through rattle can pain. Buy enough to let it soak for a few minutes then wipe with a towel you don't mind ruining.

Acetone melted my dash trim piece. I wouldn't recommend using it.
