Hey well I traded my cat-back for Raven_SS VIS custom made CF hood. That exhaust was too loud for me and I wanted some appearance mods. Here's the pictures, let me know what you think. THe Fitment isn't perfect not sure how to fix this, the hood is aligned just might be warped I guess? Please let me know what I can do, I was thinking about taking a heat gun to the underside of the hood and then pushing down on the top till it lines up?

 

Needs another hood pin, doesnt look right with just one

Oh and for your fitment issues, its because almost nothing you buy that is CF/fiberglass will be perfect

 

i also have a cf vis hood on my ss/sc aswell the fitment isnt the greatest as for what you can do 2 stop it from warping is remove the hood shock,couse when its down since the hood is so light the shock is still apply pressure 2 open the hood once you remove that you will see that the hood will drop down a lil n line up with the driver side light a lil better

 

I didn't put the shock back in, I figured out the first time I tried closing it that the shocks puts stress on the hood and this is probably what cause it to warp in the first place.

I kinda like the one hood pin thing, kinda JDMish haha. and I don't think I want to deal with putting another hide away hood pin on it.

oh ight then your best bet will be hood pins then....but the heatgun not to sure about never tired it or heatd of anyone trying it but if you do gl with it

paint your headlights black now it brings out the cf alot more then the chrome

also a tint strip across the top imo will look badass lol...jst some helpful hints

 

it just seem the hood has a bow to it in the middle, maybe if I tighten the hood pin a little more it'll help. I dont know what's involved in putting another hideway pin in, probably a lot of work.
as far as the headlights I'm going to get chrome projectors, there's someone about black that just looks cheesy IMO. but a lot of ppl do like the black.

yah u think like me i didnt want 2 spray my headlights blk but the chrome made the front end of my car seem ...idk how 2 put it....boring i guess then i sprayd them blk jst 4 hehe n hahas n i fckin love them now lol

but has 4 the hood pins i have no clue how 2 install em all i kno is im not fckin with it cuz ull have 2 drill at a slight tilt an i dnt wanna fck up my cf so ima have some1 do it 4 me lol ill post a pic of my front end with the cf n let u b the judge of the headlights mayb itll change ur mind

Carbon composite is a thermoset, meaning no amount of heat will soften it in fact heat is usen in the curing process, further hardening it. I could become brittle if you apply too much heat.
