k2 led tails

I just put the k2 led taillights in my car. Now are the supposed to flash like you have a light bulb out when you use the turn signal or is it just me. It annoys the crap out of me lol

They are wired wrong, flip them around in some manner (the wiring harness or the lights themselves) guaranteed they will work proper.

do they have built in resistors? LED swaps will need a resistor to stop the hyper flash youre describing.

My LED depot lights on my CIVIC were not keyed, meaning the light harness could be flipped 180 degrees either in the right or wrong orientation. Also the harness for the signals, breaks and running were all the same. Took a big of fiddling and having them plugged in correctly and I resolved the flickering.

I honestly cant imagine LED tails without built in resistors, thats ghetto as hell.

Welcome to car world. This is not honda lol 99% of LED tails need resisters. ALL of them made for cobalts do.

Yup just tap in some 6 ohm load resistors and it will fix your hyper flash. Here's where I got mine. $7 for a pair.

k2 didn't develop them they just sell them. Rarely do aftermarket lighting products get any real testing and refinement phase beyond "does this work?"

Yeah I know or any led company and also make sidemarkers and 3rd brake lights to match, cuz I'd love to but those also. Only other thing i don't like is the two middle lights feel like they barley stay in since these new lights don't got the threads to put them little screws back on to hold the light in
