Large front grille?

Hey everyone,

I'm pretty sure this has been done before, just wondering how it would look on our car. Didn't see anything though this far. Replacing our front SS/SC plastic grille and bar for one of thos (Nissan Altima in picture)

pretty sure OP wanted a full grille with no crossbar.

No not like that :P I mean without the center, hortizontal plastic part with the chevy logo. So just one huge grilles like ultimas or some caddys

^ Cross bar.

OP is talking about the newer style of GM cars with very large grilles, no cross bar, with no emblems.
The new CTS's come to mind. Hell, even some of Chevy's SUVs.

You would have to do something like hack off the cross bar to get that kind of look on here.
G5 GT bumper grille is even smaller than the Cobalt's.

Holy crap thats a good looking cobalt!!!
Love the trunk! Looks a lot more like a mustang spoiler than anything else!
Gives me a lot of ideas...but for the grille, I was thinking more like our stock, cuting away all the plastic horizontal parts (like all of them...not sure how to call them lol) and putting a huge metal mesh instead. I wonder how it would look like...

i wish i had taken a pic of it, but the g5 gt bumper is literally an ss bumper with the bar cut out. the attachment points are still there. the bars were cut out after painting since the color of the raw bumper is there. just thought id put my .02 in
