Thumbs up LED 3rd Brake Light Kits

Hey All,

First of all, im not a Cobalt owner, But, one of my vehicles is an Olds Alero. I have been making custom lighting and such for other owners for about 3 yrs. One of the kits that I have made is LED 3rd brake light strips. The reason I am over here, is that the Cobalt 3rd brake light looks very very similar in size to that of the Alero and Grand Ams. I would be willing to make them if someone could get me a measurement off the assembly. From what i have seen on my own, they should be a pretty good match.

Cost will be in the neighborhood of $20 shipped.

Anyways, here is a pic of what I am talking about....

Here is one I did for a 3rd Generation Mitsu. Eclipse. Still waiting on an Installed Pic.

Some of the other stuff that I have done is on my website.

Exactly how bright are the LEDs you're using? In other words, if I were to black out my third brake light, could I still see the LEDs come on without having to squint?

Just trying to bring something to the community. Realized that the cobalt has a similar 3rd brake light, and figured I would offer them. I am a full member of many forums.

I do not own a grand am but for the same reason I am a member of:
grandamgt.com
gaownersclub.com
n-body.net

Dont own a cavalier, but im a member of j-body.org

Dont own a 3rd Generation Eclipse, but im a member of:
eclipseforums.org
club3g.com

Not tryin to necessarily sell anything....if folks are interested in having something that isnt mass produced, this is the way to get them.

Each LED that I use is rated at 8000 MCD. I guess it all depends on how dark you went.

This is one for an Eclipse. Picture was taken in with the light and flash off, shining against the wall.

Nothing like someone coming on and selling junk when they're not a supporting vendor

Unfortunately, you must be a supporting a vendor to advertise a product. Please read the Rules section for information on becoming a vendor.

Feel free to participate in the forum and to develop your product. Just don't try selling them.
