Led halos - retrofit help

Hey guys. I'm doing a morimoto mini H1 retrofit. I can't figure out where the LED halos go? Between the shroud and the projector? Or over the shroud? If it goes between.... Where does the wire go? It doesn't seem like there's enough room without bending the **** out of the wire?

If it's an actual led halo the only place it's likely to actually fit it on top of the shroud. CCFL you could probably fit under but led would most likely be too thick. Also depends on what size they gave you

It fits. There's more than enough room between the shroud and the projector. It's just the wire where it comes out of the halo is pushed too tightly against the inside of the shroud and I'm afraid it'll damage it because those wires are pretty fragile. I'm thinking about dremeling out a notch there but was just wondering how other people got theirs to fit

The light will still be visible from inside the shroud, correct? I just think it would look tacky on the outside during the day cuz the rubbery coating that goes over the LEDs is **** yellow

I doubt they will be very visible at all, should be dark enough to hide it.

That would completely defeat the look he's going for.

Yeah. Not to mention the LED halos are pretty fragile pre-installation and securing it with fishing wire over the top could damage the phosphorous coating

Edit: I did find a solution tho. The halo fits perfectly snug between the projector and the shroud. Didn't even have to glue it
