LED help

So I recently got a blue led light for my dome light. The problem is that when I have the dome light switch in the "only turn on when the door(s) open" position the led doesnt turn off 100%. when I have the dome light switch in the "off" position it does turn off 100%. When the dome light switch is in the "only turn on when the door(s) open" position its not bright at all (like a cell phone screen on its darkest output setting). So i guess im just wondering is it bad if i keep it in the "only turn on when the door(s) open"? like will i kill my battery or burn out the led light?
here are pics of the light in the "on" position and in the ""only turn on when the door(s) open" position.

it looks A LOT brighter then it is in this picture

it won't hurt anything at all. It's not drawing enough power for your battery to even notice, you'd have to leave it on for months to do anything. Believe it or not, the tiny amount of power lighting that led was always there, but the normal bulb in there takes so much power to light, that it wouldn't light. So it's not affecting anything, the residual power running through the wires is what's lighting that bulb.
