Back bumper after about 1/2 inch was added into the middle to correct fitment issue.

The front is a Zen aka BC2. The sides and rear are N1. Decided to have the kit installed and 2 toned while the car was in for repairs from a canopy tent. Should have her back around the end of the month

The car looked sweet when i had the stock kit installed, but i couldnt pass up the deal on the kit. Traded my stock front bumper, grilles, & fog housings for N1 sides, N1 rear, and drifter 2 front. Selling the drifter front and purchased the Zen front for $100. Sold stock sides for $125. Sold stock rear for $150. All in all making out like a bandit. For reference here is a nice pic of her before the damage and all the work being done.

This is a quick photochop from the side w/o rear of what she is going to look like when I get the car back. The front windows will also be tinted

Got it off ebay as a factory defect for $650 shipped. Its a ViS G-Force that normally runs around $950 shipped. Only thing wrong is some loose weave areas and the cf doesnt completely wrap around the upper passenger corner

I used to like body kits when i was younger, but now i've came to realise over the past few years (in my opinion) that small, subtle modifications is what makes a car look best. But it really does'nt matter what other people think of your ride, as long as you're happy with it.

i can understand putting one on if you go to shows in order to get more points and what not. but that doesn't automatically make it look good.
Anyone who thinks the Cobalt aftermarket kits look good are just trying to fool themselves into believing such.

To many hideous creations are made when statements like that are made.

I don't think making a small profit is worth losing the clean look of the factory kit. I mainly dislike the weird vents on aftermarket kits, just doesn't float my boat.

Overall I have saved a lot of money than it would have cost. As others have said, its about what you as an owner likes. I personally loved the SS kit when i had it but also loved the look of the kit I have now. Cost was a major factor, and I honestly I didnt think it would happen for a long time. Fortunately, opportunities came in my favor. It cost me around $300 in all for parts (travel and front bumper) and I have made most of it back. Anything i get for the other front end will technically go towards the cost of installation and paint which the majority is being covered by insurance. I also have the costs of replacing the grille and fog housings.

Your car still looks nice, but it looked alot better with the stock kit.

IMO.
