but i am pondering whether to paint outer trim of chrome to a red color OR to paint the inner black to a silver and then the chrome to a red.

im planning on AVS headlight covers so i think the black with red would look good. but im not sure yet

 

so how are all yall gettin such a nice finish on your bowties?? Are you sanding them or just straight out painting them??

 

sand then paint. good sand for about 2 minutes with well 600 grit i think. and then taped off chrome if want to BEFORE sanding, then paint with couple coats. if wanted a clear coat. no sanding in between for me.

 

Here's mine. Something's different about the grille though. Hmm??
