What? anyways I think I may use the header wrap idea to solve my hood strut rubbing problem and keep heat out

 

Yea, it works in te reverse. Header wrap on headers keeps heat in the headers...wrap something that pulls cold air in it will hold cold air in but there are no real noticeable differences. He did it to solve the rubbing issue.

 

That's not a cold air intake thats the cold side of his turbo! He's TwinCharged!!!! I need to know where he got the oil cap with the return line tied into it!

 

im not twincharged.
the wrap is simply there to prolong the life of the intake itself. the k&n intakes rest on the ecm and the brake lines on the 07's. they rub into the intake itself. nothing more.

 

No wai dood. You have to be twin charged to put down those numbers

where do i get an SS hood blanket? and how much are they

 

its not the ss, its the stock hood blanket

 

you can get one at ced for about 108$

 

 

I just emailed Tom at CED the other day & he said he stoped carring them, Because the SS kept falling off!

 

Strange...I have the SS hood blanket -- and had the bowtie hood blanket on my LS -- neither show any signs of falling off...

Why is it you have an oil return line feeding into the oil fill cap? Turbo oil return line???

 

It's supplemental breathing for the PCV system.
