Thanks! I kept waiting for someone to post some excellent pictures of my engine bay since I saw everyone snapping them at the car show... Erod never sent me the ones he took and I never found what I wanted in the dot org forums so I took my own yesterday.

I plan to send out the motor mount and strut tower brace to get polished this winter to match everything else. A couple people have mentioned it but it was too late to do before the GM Tuner Bash by the time I thought of it.

Oh and props to 06_SS_S/C for the braided hose sleeving idea, he did his way before I did mine.

........and get a strut bar and paint it the same color as your car too

When you decide to spray your ECM cover -- spray it with sandable primer and after a few well dried coats wet-sand it with some 400 grit sand paper. Keep spraying a thin coat and sand between well-dried coats until you get a smooth surface. That way the paint stays smooth and shiney. If you paint the ECM cover with the "crinkle" look the color always looks lighter because of the way the light reflects off of it.

REDFOCZ, that valve cover is sick looking. What kind of paint/powdercoat did you use?

Dude, what sort of place polishes the SC like that? How long does it take and about how much?
