I gotta post some updated pics after the weekend, a few things have changed under the hood these days

 

My 2009 updated shots with all the new changes, Notice the sensor on top of the supercharger...I polished the bracket & painted the sensor. Now it blends right in, I also got the coilovers, made the headlight covers in the last year & a few other subtle changes.
3 1/2 years later this is what see looks like!

 

I didn't really get to try it out before my motor went. From the couple runs I did. It helped out alittle.

are oil caps universal?

 

A lot of newer GM's use the same oil cap. I have an oil cap from my 2001 Grand AM which has a 3.4L V6. LS1's and LS2's also use the same size oil cap as the Ecotec.

There are universal chrome ones on ebay, and cobalt-addiction.com sells some different ones.

 

Ty, I've had a lot of compliments on the engine & how clean it is... even from judges! When I told 2 judges that I completely break it down every year & repolish every thing, they looked at me like I was crazy!
But hey got to do something during rainy season there aren't many shows.... so what the hell & like I told them I get more points right?

 

what paint would you use to paint the engine cover and the bar behind the engine. under the hood. that one pic has it in pink.

I say that all the time but I say "loud dont mean your fast" whenever i hear some loud ass car drive away. usually civic hatchbacks

You know yesterday at the Koni Race all the Mazada's, Honda's & Mini's where loud as hell & the cobalts you couldn't even hear! I got some Vids of it.. that I will be uploading later today!
