lets try this again lol read:

on the 2.2 l 05 cobalt ls coupe on the headlights there are yellow things for the turn signals is there a way i can remove those to make the whole thing clear?

well i think you could but we dont know if the yellow reflectors would pop out or not and if so it may leave holes and look bad but if you take the yellow out and tint them and put them back in maybe that would look alright

Yep , you need to heat up the outer lens with a heat gun . Pry off the outer lens . Then the chrome bezel inside will come out . The you can just simply take the amber reflector out . It isnt permanently attached , its held in by tabs . To reseal the lens , permatex "Ultra Grey" silicone will match the stock grey silicone used by GM .

Do a search or look in the "How to " section for threads about black headlights for a detailed explaination of removing and resealing the outer lens . Its been discussed many times , so you should find all the info you need .

The 3 tiny slits left when the relector is out are un-noticeable .

ok then so maybe it wouldnt be too bad then, anyone have pics of this done with a chrome housing and no reflectors

Yeah . The circular amber piece is gone , there really isnt anything to replace the curved square amber reflector though . If you take that out too , it just leaves a big black hole as its open to main housing behind the bezel . There isnt a reflector behind it , just a little 194 bulb mounted in the open housing .
