Take it to someone that knows how to buff....
You can claybar it yourself and it will help.

this. Without repainting, a professional buff job with quality products will be your best bet. It may cost you a far amount of money, but it will be worth every penny.

just be aware that when you do you WILL be adding small microscractches to the car. Sorta like swirls but directional. It's not something you can avoid with claybaring.

Clay bar then wax right after the clay. Unless you have big rocks on your car and they are picked up by the clay and rubbed against the car then the scratches will not be noticeable. A good wax and then rub off the wax with a detailed spray and you will be money. Oh yeah wash the car before you clay with a soap bucket and another bucket to rinse whatever you wash with. Believe me my car looks brand new after that process. Oh yeah expect to take some time doing this as well. Good luck!

give yourself like a full day to do this process... wash your car and dry it completely, then put your car in a garage or a spot where it will stay shady most of the day and use a claybar (i use the mother's kit) and do little sections at a time starting from the roof and work your way down ending with the side skirts (be sure to keep each area wet and also knead the clay after each section to keep it clean of debris), then let it sit for a little while and use a detailer wax (i use meguiars) and again start with the roof and work your way down. it usually takes me about 6-7 hours when i do my car because i'm fussy as hell but it really cleans up nice

After you get the paint correction/ reconditioned wash your car with quality products. Try to avoid drive thru car washes, and whenever you scrub your car clean go in a single direction, don't swirl as you will reintroduce microscratches into your newly worked paint

I planned on taking the whole day and i have clay bared before but I dont think it gave it the shine. I believe I waxed it also. Is there anything else you can use to make it shine besides a was and clay bar?
