why should you or anyone care what badge is on the car. I had a 06 SS/NA with the 2.4 L and it was badged a SS. the car was totaled in a accident and the insurance replaced it with a 08 2.4 L which is now badged a sport and theres no difference in the appearance, same body, wheels, and rear spoiler the only difference is the color

 

just a thought. so ok all of you 2006 & 2007 2.4L SS/NA as i said earlier i had a 06 SS/NA which was totaled in a accident (other guys fault) and the insurance replaced it with a brand new 08 2.4 L/NA but GM badged it as a Sport. so besides that what makes it different than any of yours, and if i did and would't took off the sport badge and replaced it with a SS badge would that be so bad. and if the guy with the LS wants to do the body kit then put a SS badge on it or make it look like a SS who cares. anyone who knows any thing about cars would know it was a dress up and those who don't who cares what they think. for me i'm having mine turboed and when its done i'm leaving the exterior as it is as for me i dont care what anyone thinks about the car

 

Because the 2.2 doesnt have the suspension/transmission/engine upgrades that the 2.4 Sport or "ss" has.

 

all i have to say is ppl need to grow up, its not your car so who cares what he wants to do! if you dont think ppl should put the ss kit on an not ss, then why do ppl trade there ss trunk lid for LS trunks? you guys need to go suck a pole and let him do what he wants!

I dont understand why you dont get the buddyclub 2 kit, its almost the same as the SS yet slightly different, then your not looking like something your not, and you still have almost the same look, and your clean, yet different from other basemodels.

 

So did it line up correctly, or did you have to modify the lip to fit. I know some coupes that have done it have had issues with the lip extending beyond the bumper (by the wheel well).

 

Everything fit about right, except a section of the bottom bumper needs to be cut out for the grilles to fit, and it extended about 1-1.5" into the wheel wells. I just took a hacksaw, chopped it off, and sanded it down.

 

why do you have to bash the title? he's going from an LS look to an SS look... big whoop hes just trying to get the general point of his thread across... what do you want... "Putting an SS/SC body kit on my LS but not trying to pretend im something im not"? hes not throwing on badges to say SS or SS Supercharged so hes not doing any wrong. He's not gunna tell people its an SS... hes gunna say yeah man this is my LS and i put the model up body kit on it... doesn't it look good? HELL YA it looks good! and its the cleanest looking kit so why cant he get it!

haha well thank you. i just hate seeing these riced up civics trying to make people think theyve got something special. im tired of guys in LS with fartcans trying to race me at stop lights. it makes me chuckle. i am in no way shape or form an ls or lt or whatever series of consenants you want to group together hater. i simply think you should play the hand you have. for instance a guy in my area has a v6 pony package mustang with a gt500 hood and its all decked out in cobra and shelby stickers and stuff. sounds like ass too. you should beef up your engine and make it perform, not just look. FORM FOLLOWS FUNTION. dump the money into the internals not the externals. wouldnt it be better to suprise someone by beating them, rather than being flashy and losing? just my two cents, not intended to offend anyone
