i just pulled mine off when i had the 2.2, it left no residue or paint chips. just go slowly, and don't force it. may have to use some goo gone or something similar

ok, so i took the bowtie off the back and painted it black and left the chrome around the edges...so what is the best double sided tape to get to place it back on?...also, i was thinking about putting it right over top of the trunk lock, good or bad idea?

<<scratched mine on one side taking it off. the molding came off easy, the tape did not...goo-gone did nothing to get the tape off, ended up scuffing the clear coat on one side without realizing it
