matte black on cobalts doesnt look good, not enough hard angles/lines for it too look sweet. too smooth

someone on here painted their car matte black

If it is already black I would go the reverse of the charger and camaros. I would leave a couple stripes in the gloss black. Would be interesting and at least break up the plainness of the matte. I am going to add matte fender stripes to my black car soon to do the same and for a different look. Waiting for pictures of your project Good Luck!

I'm buying the body kit soon. Then in a month I'll buy the vinyl and start working on it.

I really dunno how the victory read would look sticking out from the matte color. To liven up your car though, you could find small area to include the victory red in your car. I would go matte wheels with a victory red stripe and maybe a few other areas for the red to show. Big red stripes though I feel is a nono unless you can get someone to create it for you to see what it would look like. Some guys on this site are really good with computers. I am interested in what you finally choose to do.

So as i was driving back home i saw a guy who vinyl his top .. like a two tone matte black and silver. looked pretty sick.
I found an amazing price for the matte black. 48inch by 50feet for 300$! its a joke! for them to do the job professionally they said it would be around 3,500$. i'm guessing thats whwere they make their money.
So i'm waiting for the body kit people to finally give me a good price. Trying to get rid of my iphone 4 and then buy the vinyl and start on the car.

@SSBLACKSC Yeah i was thinking of putting some of the red to stand out but when you run your finger through it it will feel weird. I might just go Lime green and matte black. Like have a lime green lip on my wheels + Bow ties + HIDs, LEDS or i might just stay red since i already have most of the stuff red. I'll deffinately look for some matte black rims for the summer but i have a couple of months to figure out it. Getting Lambo doors in April for only 300$ so i can't wait for my car to be done. Not much performance but a lot of appearance

Subd for pics. Matte cars are growing on me... But I agree about not enough angles. Bimmers and benzs pull this off very well for that reason...
