My cheap mods and audio
Used nite shades on the tail lights, put punisher skulls on the outside tail lights. Cut the antenna down and painted it flat black. Put flat black on the headlights. All the "olive" colored grilles, both front and rear got painted black and than a punisher bowtie on the front. Winow tint all around, 50% on the front windows, 35% on the rear windows, 20% on the back window. A six inch limo stripe across the top of the windshield. As far as audio goes, I stuck with Pioneer. Two Pioneer 12's in custom boxes with a 1200 watt Pioneer amp (no pictures yet). Only performance mod is a drop in K&N filter. I would love to hear any comments and yes I used a cell phone, thats all I have to take pictures so sorry about that. Last pic is for ***** and giggles, its my old 98 GMC 1500 and my 85 Honda 250SX.

im not a painter so i dont kno what kind of differences between different clears there are but i can try and do a quick search for u and see what i come up with for the best clear to use with nightshades
for all my projects i have used the duplicolor stuff
from what i can tell it shouldnt really make a difference what clear u use, just find one decently priced

Why did you cut down the antenna? I mean it might look nice to you but it will take away from your radio reception especially on those weaker stations. The antenna is a preset length to receive the various range of freqs. for your radio. It's all based on the wave length of the freqs. you expect to receive. It is not just a piece of metal stuck up in the air. Now I admit that most factory antennas are not the best, but they do a good job for what you get. Now, there are different styles of antennas and some are shorter then the factory ones. Most of those have a matching coil built in to them to compensate for the shorter length. Of course if you only listen to CDs then all of this is a moot point.
Just thought I'd add some input.

und1974. I spent ~$1300 on my audio system. I have an Ipod, Cd's, and XM radio. I don't even use my AM/FM bands, so it doesn't affect me any. I would love to delete the whole thing out.
