Anyone know a good place to get these from for a reasonable price? I had the gen 4's and they were **** so I sent them back and just got my refund. so, now I'm ready to get new ones. any help or advice on what to get is appreciated. thnx in advance

 

From what i understand Gen2's are the only headlights you can buy with ccfl's. IMO buy the headlights you like and put them in. You can get them off ebay

 

I think that it was mike ulrey that told me they were the gen 4's but he may have said 2's. idk, it's been about a month. lol
is there anywhere other than ebay with em? cause I can't find any that I like on ebay that's not the guy that I bought em from last time. and his product was shitty

 

I have the 1st gens with CCFL Halos... I bought them from eBay, or you can buy them from: k2motor.com

 

Send them off to mike (buyhid's.com) and he can hook you up and put in any color you want

 

I'll stick with ebay...k2motor.com is expensive as hell.

I already got the HID kit for it. I just need the light now. lol.

 

Doesn't matter where you buy the lights, they all come from the same factory. If you want CCFL halos then just buy whatever lights you want and buy a CCFL conversion kit if you don't get the second gen set.

 

They do halos as well...

 

The only one that comes with CCFLs are the 2nd gen. If you want CCFLs in gens 1 or 3, you'll have to put them in.

Anyways, the aftermarket headlights for these cars are all prety shoddy in quality. If you can swing the money for a retrofit of the OEM housings with actual bi-xenon HID projectors, do it.

 

Uhhh. Look at my avatar. I didn't put CCFL's in there. So I bought them like that. But I do agree that the aftermarket headlights are rather crappy in quality, & to go with a bi-xenon set HID set up.

 

The vendor probably installed them. Not uncommon.
