Another question, how did you get the old grille out? I took out all the pop-up clips, took off the Chevy emblem, and was having a hell of a time getting the stock grille out. I know there's a bunch of tabs holding it in, but even when I bent them back and tried to get the grille out, it didn't want to move. Did I miss something else that might be holding it in?

well i painted the inside of the light, and the eyelids are painted on, i am planning on redoing them cause i want them to come down just a tad bit lower for a meaner look.

there are a couple of screw holding the grill onto the front bumper. the mesh is plastic and i was somewhat worried about the size, but i really dont think that it will be much of a problem, because i figure it will keep big stuff out and at least slow little things down enough to where they dont do any damage.

just remember a heat gun is your friend and will make the vinyl alot easier to work with and stick like a sum beach. Take your time and it will be worth it. I also did my ss emblems as well...heres a pic.

MOST PEOPLE USE GUTTER GAURD (BLACK PLASTIC MESH) AT ANY HARDWARE STORE. i OPTED TO USE GAV. STEEL MESH WHICH WAS A TOTAL PAIN IN THE @SS BUT LOOKS AWESOME, IF YOU USE STEEL BUY LOTS OF PAINT UNLESS YOU WANT TO KEEP THE STEEL LOOK..

Now that looks GREAT. I hate the White inlays on mine, looks like I'm gonna have to procure some red vinyl and have at it!

that would have to be custom done... really really custom. you could prep it up and get it ready for paint but unless you have professional equipment to paint your gonna have to take it to a body shop and its gonna turn i 20 dollar project into a 800+ project.
