New headlight from dealer
New headlight from dealer
Today i took my car in for some warranty work, and while i was at it i mentioned to one of the service men that my cars headlight had condensation in it some days worse then others he said they can replace it under warranty. to make a long story short the new headlight doesnt fit properly there is a gap inbetween the hood and the light, not extremely noticeable but noticeable none the less and annoying to me...do you guys think a body shop would be able to get the gap to look better i tried myself and i couldnt close it much? The man at the dealership when i brought the gap to his attention said that gm has changed parts manufactuer lately and that could be the reason why there is a difference
. My car looked great before, minus the condensation in the headlight now it looks good but there is a gap on the headlight lose lose situation. Any suggestions?

yeah ill screw around with it a litltle more and see if i can get it any better its such a pain to go to these dealerships, if i cant make it any better ill bring it back and make them replace it again or something...
So on top of everything i realized today that they gave me a 08-09 headlight and not a matching 05-07 way to go dealership... luckily my freind has a pair of matching healights for me so hopefully that solves my problem, it really is hard to find good help these days!
Do you mean not a matching 05-06? Im assuming the difference is the amber turn signal reflector which was removed starting 2007.
