I could make the lettering any colour. For that matter, the top could be any colour as well.

I took a look at an LNF valve cover yesterday and It is possible but it would be a challenge. I will see what I can do. My wife has an LE5 so I could try to make a prototype off of her car but the LNF would be a bit of a challenge because of the charge piping.


I am getting a quote back by the end of the month for the LSJ covers. LNF/LE5 covers would most likely be a little bit more because of some forming that would be required to mount them onto the valve cover.

 

If it fits the Le5 it will fit the lnf, the charge piping clears the vc by like 2 inches so there isn't a problem.

I'll keep you guys posted and get you all the info as soon as I get the info from the supplier. I am looking at a few compaines to cut the designs (as I have not aquired a cnc plasma/laser cutter yet) and I should have something back from them early next week. It looks like I have some interest to get a small run of them cut which could help with cost. Unlike machining, there aren't really too many setup costs involved as I have the designs drawn up prior to sending to the company for cutting.

 

I have gotten the quote back and It looks like I can make the pricing work. I don't want to post up anything that would infringe on the site rules for vendors so I will not post up pricing at the moment. I am also hesitant to produce the pieces with GM logos because of copyright infringement but I will see what I can do. I understand that for personal use, reproducing GM logos is ok but for selling the pieces, I don't think that is legal without consent.

I have some more designs that I will try to post up tonight (they are the autocad images so you will have to use a little imagination). I can do pretty much anything so I can take requests as well.

With respect to the LNF/LE5 covers that I have had requests for, I will have to find someone locally with one to figure out mounting points and make a prototype off of that.

 

in for the LNF cover! i wouldn't need mine coated. just the bare metal. my powder coater will take care of the rest.

 

I'll do some more research tonight and see what I can do about getting an LNF cover started this week.
