I have the same set up as you. 6000k HID's and yellow fogs. Personally, I don't really like the look as there is a huge color difference. Blueish white and yellow don't look right together. I'm thinking of sticking a set of Philips Crystalvision bulbs which are very white.

As for yellow fogs, yellow is the idea color since it reduces the amount of light that reflects off of fog and back to your eyes therefore it allows you to see further in foggy conditions. Living in a port city I should probably have yellow hids rather than the 6000k's.

They're Luminics H11. I got them off eBay brand new, which was actually cheaper than getting them from the Luminics website. They also have them in blue if that's more your style.

nice, i have 3,000K HID in my fogs, but they both blew out on me yesterday and i have to see whats wrong with them. Not sure why they just went like that and both at the same time, i think the fuse went or something since it was so effing hot yesterday

 

Mine stopped working about a couple months ago. I replaced the relay and now they're working fine.

 

Never had to run a relay on mine and they worked fine.


For months and months.

 

To me, they both look good. I would just get HID fogs

 

i have yellows in my fogs too it looks sick and is way different than the stock bulbs in person...hid on hid with headlights and fogs im just not a fan of sometimes.

 

And now, night pics. I am COMPLETELY satisfied with this decision. If anyone says "hur it's not much more yellow than the stock bulbs", you're missing the point. I'm not embarrassed to run my foglights anymore; it's complete.

yeah i blew my fuse in the fuse panel for the fogs thats why mine wont turn on. I have to go pick up a new one today
