oainting rear SS black anyone??

I was thinking about painting the rear SS badge black and keeping the chrome trim around it...i know a few people on here have done it i jus cant find pics so anyone with pics thatd be greatly appreciated...thankss

i have black ones on my door SS badges for a few months now, they are a little tricky to put on neatly but i like them

i got the overlays from ebay for my 05 ss/sc and they didn't fit right and they kinda looked like **** IMO. they weren't wide enough like the white still showed

You know what may work, may sound tacky but it could work. You get some of the "baking glass" do an initial layer of black on the SS with a paint pen or something then use the glass to give it a smooth finish. I dunno maybe an idea, something to make it a lil more custom for you, I just went with the C/F SS badges off ebay....they worked for me.

I got some black overlays from eBay in the mail today. They look like they are of great quality. I'll be putting them on my red SS. I'll post pictures after I get them installed.
