my best friends cat used to hide under whoever's exhaust was the warmest, only problem was you had to make sure he wasn't under there if you went to leave

^same here..
if these were mine I'd be doing alot of things to them.. I know I could get to liking the design but it would take a lot of work by me shaving and filling parts of them in (namely the LEDs for one)

Yea the LED's it what turns me off. I just got my hands on a set of stock headlights. Gonna build a mold and shave some **** to try and fit dual projectors in them. It's gonna be a process but I'm determined to make it work! lol

lots of cosmetic stuff..
-getting the grilles custom painted
-working on a few retros
so i took the bumper off as it makes both the above processes easier
then
-removing intake
-removing hotside pipe
-removing intake manifold
-removing valve cover
-removing ECU
^removing some of that for ease of removal of other parts. plan on painting the intake manifold and valve cover and possibly re-routing a few vac lines to clean up the engine bay a little bit
after that.. car will go up on jack stands and I'll be recoating much of the car underneath with a rust converter then underbody coating.. seeing as now its not driven in winter I might as well stop whatever oxidation is occuring and clean her up nice under there as well. I'm waiting for the cold weather to stop for a majority of this work.. that and I'm busy with retros anyways
