Question Ok so I still dont get it..

Apparently I'm a little slow... I read the sticky's on this site about the HIDs.. and nobody really explained the point of a slim ballast or a relay harness... I don't remember which it was but one converts DC to AC power... BUT why do I need either one for the kit I guess is the answer that I'm looking for.. If someone could dumb it down for me that'd be GREAT!!!

I plan on buying them from BUYHID.com headlights(H1)/foglights(H11) 6000K

Thanks..

slim ballasts are smaller for easier concealment and the relay is so that the bixenon part of the hid work so you have low and high beam. someone correct me if im wrong

Slim ballast are 1/3 of the thickness of the regular ballast so they are easier to fit into smaller places
Relay Harnesses provide the ballast with a direct 12V power rather then pulling power from the headlight wires themselves, they also help protect the stock wiring, not necessary to hook up HIDs but HIGHLY recommended

no,
that's where the relay comes in and turns them on when you headlights turn on

and you have to pull ur DRL fuse when you install HIDs
