Painted Door Handles Today

yup just finished the passenger side door and working on the drivers side. looks way better than the fake chrome

yeah mine peeling off as well thats.i painted them because my warrenty is up and wanted a change from the chrome

and yes i took them out i took some pics i will post later

taking them apart....easy. getting them back togethe......a GIANT pain in the ass

oh yeah also put this on

ha ha no i didnt put that on there my buddy who was helping me with this has an sti and he had that. i was checking out the thread of rice and figured that would be perfect for that

errr... idk... it looks... cheaper than the chrome imo... i painted my interior, but would nver think about the handles. but thts just my opinion.

looks like you did a good job painting them tho. just not my cup of tea.

nothing it just starts to peel off at the seam. its not chipping its just peeling off

it might but its not the chipping its when it peels off it cut the people hands on the pass side. so i figured this will fix that and if it does its an easy fix i can do myself

Nice idea! It looks pretty good.

I took off my handles when I painted the door panels and now they are kinda loose. Not sure if the spring isn't on all the way but the handle freely moves like 1/3rd of the way. It's a little annoying.
