I think its the lighting that makes that purple look so dark. I personally think that would look bad ass. And I certainly applaud you for being willing to shell out the money for House of Kolor paints. Haha

Hahaha!! I think that gold looks pretty damn sexy on that valve cover. How hard is it gonna be to do the lettering in the black?

Heres what mine looks like right now.

Im not sure if I should stick with the red or what I should do.

I plastidip'd the letters first cuz my dude did his hood an had a bunch layin around(o i know, I know! ) but the after tapin em off, the paint came up, o duh

now that I'm all drunk an ****, im thinkin ima jus do a wrinkle black on the letters an redo my wrinkle black intake/Charge pipes, which look ok, but not as good as I want em..

I would man but Im wanting a true cai. Im tired of having the filter in the bay and Im still up in the air with possibly putting on a supercharger.

But I think Im going to continue with the color scheme of the exterior of the car. I know black is hard to clean but I just dont want a bunch of random colors. Im thinking I may do black on the valve cover. Probably black then polish the letters so they are silver. Then redo my fuse box cover black again and my computer cover. Although is thee really any reason to keep that pcm cover on? Ive noticed alot of people taking them off.

Also, would there be any ill effects of removing the firewall insulation stuff? Since were on the subject of the engine bay I figured I'd ask. Haha. But I had a rat get in my bay over the winter and tear that insulation **** up. I've already pulled the hood insulation off but Im just wondering about the stuff on the firewall. Plus it'd make it easier to keep clean.

haha I got a blk balt 2, but the gold calipers & valve cover I think'll brake it up a lil bit.. I got an Injen CAI right now, Fend trade it/get a K&N SRI an sell mine.. whichever comes first CAI's cool an all, but drivin thru the rain's not, trust me, I've been there

I got Plastidip on my wheels right now, I've seen people plastidip their calipers, an it looks good after a "year or so" I was thinkin if it fades out, or bubbles up, I can jus peel it off an redo it good but after the paint/clear dries, I might try the plastidip if I feel like it.. it's cheaper than a can of wrinkle black i guess...

if I plastidip the letters, I'll praly have to do my Intake/charge pipes jus to match it up
