haha i was thinking the exact same thing, but the motor got little messed up with sitting on the roof for like 2 hours all the fluids mixed and just i dunno. insurance came and the demolished it. well wrote it up as demolished so they took it. didnt feel like going and doing the motor in it so i let it go
I personally dont think that too much yellow is going to work with the car's black paint. Yellow contrasts with black. Generally I would say that yellow works better with black when the car's paint is yellow and you have black applied instead of the other way around. IF it were my car, the only thing yellow (since its the color at hand) I would apply to the car would be the calipers and that would be it. I don't really like colors that stand out and scream at you.
Most cars that come standard with a stripe (Dodge Viper, Chevy Camaro Anniversary, Shelby Cobra) have a much wider hood and front end that makes the stripe(s) look more natural as if they belong there. I think that one skinny colored stripe up the side of a Cobalt looks very forced, gaudy, and its just done to say that its done. It doesnt really serve a purpose.
