If it is painted its gunna be hard. when i took mine off i used rubbing alcohol and a piece of cloth, after i was done it left little scratches, but they can be buffed out. also you may still be able to see where the pinstriping was because the cars paint around it fades.

Also interested. So if it's just a decal alcohol and some elbow grease should work?

Mine was easy...I used a heat gun on low and just peeled a little as I heated ahead of it...came off in a matter of 5-10 minutes. The part that took longer was using Bug and Tar Remover to get the sticky crap off. That took me at least 20 minutes to make sure it was all off.

You can also use a pinstripe remover wheel but I dont have any experience with that.

the eraser wheel is a big rubber wheel that works w/ a drill. takes it off in a flash. I highly doubt ur stripe is painted on but i dunno. If u go w/ the wheel be careful lol

to the OP, get sum gasoline and put sum on a rag and rubb it on the glue and it will come off

lol, ok the way it worked for me is, is get one of those plastic putty knifes and get a terry towel, or a 100% cotton towel either one works and either squirt or spray depending on your bottle, onto the towel rub it first to get it on there and then take the flat side of the putty knife and gently(GENTLY) push it against it to take off the goo, and just repeat with the goo gone as much as needed lol and it will work promise!!!

I just peeled mine off one day in the parking lot.
The sun was beating on it all day. I just started peeling at one end and it came right off.
Mine was just a vinyl stripe.
