Pinstripe or custom graphics?

Well I bought my Cobalt SS about two years ago. Since then the pinstripe has started to fade. So I took it to the dealer and they tell me it's aftermarket and another dealer must have brought a company in to paint pinstripes. Well not under warranty so what should I do. I was some sort of red pinstripe or graphic on the car. Any good ideas? No trying to spend too much money but want either regular stripe redone or something new or unique!

I might do that. Don't know how hard it will be to get a shop to remove the painted on pinstripe though

I have a black SS with a white pinstripe. And I love mine. Makes it not so boring.

if its painted on and you want to keep it just have a vinyl guy go over the paint with vinyl...you get to keep your stripe and its a cheap fix.

IMO though graphics and racing stripes do not look good on a cobalt. I've never been a fan of pin stripes either.

If it's painted on, and the paint can't be easily removed, just get a new pin strip made of vinyl and lay it over top of it.
