Talking plastic dipped my wheels gold !!!! (lots of pics)

well the paint was peeling on my wheels so i painted them... hope u like...

before


after the cleaning



now the black platic dip



then the gold



they arent on the car yet cause they're still tacky... but ill throw some pics up tomorrow when the cars all washed up and rims are on...



well heres some pics of them on the car... sry it took so long it was crazy weekend...



and yes this is the plastic dip metalizer... three coats of each... to me it looked good off the car but i dont really like it on the car... it kinda changes color depending on what angle u look at it... just not my style.. so ill be painting them again soon... live and learn i geuss...

shoulve just went with gold, if that plasti dip starts to peel its such a bitch to get it all off haha.

I think he used the metalizer plasti dip stuff (I could be wrong) so it needs to be on black to show up good. And if you put enough coats on it peels right off easy

But of course. Did my roof...looked terrible
for the most part peeled off great, but spots that I didnt get thick enough were a complete pita to get off. So I guess you're right a little :p


ohh and I forgot I did my dash pieces a couple times...just make sure you have enough even coats and you're good to go

i could see flat spots peeling off easy, they did on my rims. but his rims arent flat at all, it would be a bitchhh to take off haha, i had to use brake cleaner and rubbed with a rag for most of it.

Microfiber works magic for taking it off too, that's what I ended using cause I didn't want to be doing it all day.

This. Spent 4 hours with a power washer and degreaser trying to get mine off.

thats a awesome way to mask off the tire! haha a lot easier than masking off with tape and newspaper!!! lol looks awesome man! in for pics on the car!
