Looking to do my calipers and wheels. I don't mine plasti dip for the wheels , but don't wanna be "cheap" about it and want it to look professional. I may do pasti dip first to see if I like it , but will powdercoat later.
I ordered chevy emblem graphics in red for my steering wheel, and also found them to fit the center wheel cap perfectly also. Was thinking of doing something like that too, but don't wanna have too many shades of red. Please vote!
red brembos W/ black lettering
leave brembos w/ red lettering
red brembos W/ black lettering and black wheels with red chevy bow tie
leave brembos w/ red lettering / leave wheels stock with black bow tie
Here is a picture of what I am talking about

was thinking of color matching the car, but this is kinda close to what I am talking about

Yes these are someone elses pics

yes the black lettering will be way too dark. Hard to see. White will look nice, you could even get silver to match the stock wheel color. That color on calipers looks great in person. Less bold than bright red but very elegant.
another great idea! thanks tommy, you always have amazing advice. They gave me an estimate of $50 per caliper. Sound about right ?
That's be fair for powder coating. You might wanna talk I Powell about that first. If I remember correctly he said something about there's a rubber seal in them that needs to be taken out or something like that. Can't remover exactly what it was but there was some reason why powdercoating the calipers is a pain. Getting some g2 caliper paint should work just as well, it's supposed to be pretty tough
^^^ Am I the only one who wants the center caps to match the rest of the wheel??? Seems like a lot of guys are leaving them untouched
i say you do TommyP's old wheel color he had on his TC
that's what i wanna do when i have money saved up to refinish my wheels
stock caliper color with your matching paint for lettering

I think there all good choices but I gotta go with the red brembos. Nothin' beats a red caliper (besides a multicolor one of coarse).

I think untouched with black bowties looks the best. Black centercaps with colored bowties also look good.
