if u paint it white i hope ur gonna do door jams and the trunk and pull the engine to spray the engine bay....

 

It looks a lot better now though. My tailights and sidemarkers and VHT nightshaded now, and I have an ARK short antenna on now too. And if ya get low you can sneak a peek at my new Progress rear sway bar

White, whether it's the bulkiness of our bodies or the curves, there's just something about our cars that look very clean when they're white. I've seen a few white SS's and was thinking how hot an SS/SC would look in white. You'd have the only one in the world.

I will definitly being door jams and the trunk is CF but I will be doing around the inside of the trunk. As far as the enigine bay, thats something I will tackle down the road but right now the engine bay will look ok in black.

 

I think leaving the engine bay black isnt to much drama, it won't really stand out any...

 

Jrelly, if you get white, I will leave random shots of semen along it! Do it! Be the first white SS/SC!

 

Yeah thats my logic behind not doing it and this is my DD so I cant just pull the motor and have it sitting for awhile.

 

do some crazy killer blue with just a hint of metal flake or something something to make it a little sparkly

I would do a white pearl would be sweet but also do some graphics before you clear it. Otherwise I think it will look to plain. Maybe a pin stripe if you don't want to go to crazy. Black pin stripe would be neat. If you are not going to paint the inside of your engine bay or door jams etc. I think black graphics would make the two colors blend in a little..

do a two tone, white in the front, then make it black in the back. seperated by a strategically placed line, possibly red. Just a quick thought.

 

Get the brightest white paint possible with a pearlescent clear coat.

white is nice but....its expensive to paint and our clear coat comes off! I would keep it black....just for the sake of saving money, time and trouble.

 

I've always daydreamed about a military aircraft theme.

Something like >this<, if you can imagine it modified to the body lines of the cobalt, etc.

 

Actually white is one of the cheaper colors to paint and as far as the clear goes I wont be using the GM clear
