exactly, it's hard for me to shuck out the money for parts with only 1 gaurantee sell for each, and each cover is costing me almost $150 bones a pop. That's why I need a few people stepping up in advance so that I can just not make any money on the coating whatsoever for the first few jobs, and use that money to cover the cost of the covers.

I've had so many people say they're interested, but only 2 people have stepped up, and they're not even the same cover on each.

Everytime people step up before something is made they get burned.
Not saying thats what is going to happen here just saying thats what has happen in the past.

Just my two cents, but you picked a bad time to start taking pre-orders. I don't know about anyone else, but January/February are LEAN months for me money wise. I'm really struggling right now just to find the money to pay the bills, let alone buy toys. I like to see stuff like this, stuff that's new and different but I just don't have the money right now to buy toys. Maybe try again around tax time when people have refunds coming back and a little extra money to burn.

Yea, it doesn't look like I'm going to be getting a vendor spot on here anytime soon, as it's all i could really offer to you guys. My services are still available through Showme Street Customs, they're a great company and they're easy to work with.

I have heard this also from several owners I am in contact with about my products. But everyone needs to keep in mind that this isn't a production item or something is really even being made. This is powdercoating nothing else. It's not like some of the other group buys I have read horror stories about. This is quick and easy. Turn around time should be a few days. I wish everyone would give this a chance. PC valve covers with my stainless covers and matching PC back plates would just simply be awesome. Keep it mind. I am going to talk to Glacial Graphics and see if there is anything that I can do to help out this great oppourtunity.

At this point i am working on tracking down covers. Once we receive the covers turn around time should be about a week with shipping. I will let everyone know when I have these covers. Extra up front cost will depend on the what the cores we have to purchase cost. We will try to have a couple ready if we know ahead of time what we need to cut down on turn around time.

ok, my original setup was for 4 each. That would put 2 valve cover cores into circulation.

The first 2 people to sign up and pay for their covers will be the first 2 to receive them. They have 30 days from that shipments arrival to return their old valve cover to me to receive the core refund, otherwise they forfeit it and bought the cover outright. This is so if I don't get it back, I have money to go buy a new one. After the first 2 people's stock covers come back, they are stripped and powdercoated for people #3 and 4 on the list and then sent out, who in turn have 30 days to return their stock covers to me again or forfeit their core deposit.

It has to go this way for your cars since the valve cover is so expensive. I don't even use any cores on srt-4's, I can sell a brand new pc'd cover for 100 bucks and still make profit. that doesn't even cover the cost of a gm valve cover.

as for turnaround time, it takes 2-3 days for me to have it stripped, recoated and reshipped. Longest delay for the 2nd group of people will be how fast the first 2 get the covers back to me
