You're gonna have to mess with them to get them to fit right. I have those same ones. It took me quite a bit to get them to fit correctly. i found it was best to set them in there so that the looks like they fit perfectly. Then push the corner closest to the fender in so that you can put the bolt back in and tighten it down as tight as you can (make sure the corner closest to the center of the car stays as clost to where you origionally put it as you can). Then once you have that bolt tightened down push the corner nearest the grill in until you can fit the 2nd bolt through the hole. It will be tight and you might have to angle it a bit at first to start it but eventually it will go (it actuallykind of ovals out the plastic hole in the headlights. Mine fit almost perfect. Check out my cardomain site. the linkis in my sig. Lemme know if you have any questions...

I tried it all....... Had two master techs helping me,lol.... How many Subaru techs does take to put in a headlight? More than i had with me.... The only bolt I could get to go in is the one closest to the fender on both sides.... They dont line up with the hood either..... I have the 3rd gens as well and they fit perfect but I cracked one of the lenses on the highway... oh well.....

for those of you who can only get one bolt in you need to put some weight into it. Push as hard as you can. It will go...
