Projector/HID help

I have been sitting here for the past few hours trying to find out soild information on doing projectors and hids. This is turning into the is the 2.8 pulley safe for gm stage 2 which everyone had a different opinion.

If its possible for anyone to post a link for me or tell me some information about exactly which hids to get and are they plug and play or do I need to start splicing things? I want 8000k for the blue but which bulbs and harness? h7 or h1 bulbs?? I have read putting them in stock housing is a big no which brings me to projectors....which kind and where to get? I am totally lost with this but I would like to do it....if you can give me any information thanks....

Most HID's are plug n and play.

Any HID's are good. All bascially do the same thing. Just make sure you get warranty Just In Case.

HID bulbs for stock housings are 9007, and H1 for gen 1 and gen 3 projectors. (I believe)

Opinions on the projector housings, just pick one and hopefully you'll get a good set.

Putting HID's in Stock Reflector housings will send the light output in every direction, when projectors send the light and aim it towards the ground.

Yes, even though the EBAY kit may be a knock off brand and I wouldnt buy it, it will still do its job. JUST MAKE SURE YOU GET THE WARRANTY.

And different companies have different versions of their kelvins. One company may have a shade darker of blue of their 8k compared to another. But all should be still close.

I have 8K and projectors.

gen 1 projos = good cut offs...but u need to splice...
CCFL = good looking but HORRIBLE cut offs but the only plug n plays...
gen 2/3= i believe are not plug and play either..

as for HiDs...i suggest the 130 ones from here....or these ones.....
