The aiming bolts are a pain in the ass to work with. I had to do it by trial and error and took me several "fine tuning" sessions before I got them relatively close to the proper aim. Just keep at it and hopefully you'll find the right way to do it. When I was doing mine I had several issues where I would be turning the bolt but the light didn't seem to move, then it would all of a sudden shift a ton and be way out of whack.

You just have to take your time. With lots of patience you'll get the hang of it.

something good i read: they should be high enough that you cant see them on the road when driving, but not high enough that they are higher than your high beams.(also so they dont blind oncomming traffic

Low beams should slope down slightly as you get farther from the car. If you back away from a wall, the cutoff should get lower the farther you back up. Same goes for the fogs.

1" lower for every 25' forward sticks in my head for some reason......

i believe its actually 2" lower per 25' (1" per 12.5 ft), and highs are supposed to stay even at 25'

just throwin that out there

Won't argue that, not sure where I remember that from. Mine are set a bit higher but still sloped down. Never have anyone in the back so I'm not too worried about the rear sinking lower than the front and messing with my aim. Unlike some of the rednecks around here who throw an 8000 lb trailer on the back of their 1/2 ton and wonder why everyone flashes them......

If the cutoffs are at your eye level then they are aimed waaaaay too high. Might as well just have the high beams on
