Projectors with HID's and Highbeams
Projectors with HID's and Highbeams
So I already have HID's. But I was thinking of going to projectors. Not because I don't like the HID's cause I love them. But, I would still like the option of the High Beams.
So how do you do that. I mean the high beam part, including wiring. I know I would have to switch the for the HID. But, how do I wire the High beams to work with a normal bulb.

First you will need to find a set of Bi-Xenon projectors.
The projectors have a shield that block a good majority of the output of the light when the highbeams are off. Connected to that shield is a soleniod that is wired to the highbeams switch so when you flip the switch for your high beams the shield pulls back allowing all the light to pass through the projector.
Harnesses aren't that hard to make and can be researched at HIDplanet.com
