Question question 4 those who changed to highrise

hey all, just wondering what kind of adhesive, if any, you used when changing from lowrise to highrise to put betrwwen the spoiler and the trunk. if you didnt use adhesive and used something else i'd like to know that too. any comments on how well it works/worked is appreciated.... im just trying to figure out the best way to do this without damaging the trunk again and trying to figure out the best way for me since we have cold winters here.

thanks.

ive tried the double sided tape before........ sounds like **** when i closed the trunk... i can get over the fact that it sounded like a diving board, but the tape made noise too and left a gap between the trunk and spoiler..... what gasket maker stuff? is it that good?

Duck Tape. But you gotta get the Camo kind. It sticks the best.

Or you could use JB Weld and that bitch will NEVER come off no matter how fast you go.

I used a rubber tape with adhesive on one side. Adhesive side on the spoiler pedistals and just bolted it to the trunk. It has been on two years.

Well you only need it to keep water from getting in the holes. The damn bolts will keep it in place, The sticky **** is only there for added protection :P
